Nepal: Exotic Himalayan Kingdom

Nepal has captivated the imagination of mountaineers, explorers and all kinds of foreign visitors since it first opened its doors in the 1950s. This extraordinary country contains some of the most breathtakingly beautiful mountain scenery in the world; ranging from lush, terraced farmland and rice paddies, sub-tropical forest and sweltering valleys, to arid, windswept high-altitude plains, remote mountain passes and the summits of the highest peaks on earth. Home to cultures and religions that have shaped the philosophical outlook of the civilized world for thousands of years, Nepal is a Mecca for adventurous travelers and a visit is both a scenic revelation and an education in itself.

Tibet: The Rooftop of the World

Tibet, a Shangrila-la, the land of snows, the rooftop of the world: for centuries the mysterious Buddhist Kingdom of Tibet, locked away in its mountain fastness of the Himalaya, has exercised a unique hold on the imagination of the West. Tibet, the very name evokes feelings of awe and mystery. A mystic, mysterious land of ancient Buddhist culture, awesome landscapes, artistic monasteries and centuries-old caravan trails, Tibet is a destination out of the ordinary. Tibet is, without a doubt, one of the most remarkable places to visit in Asia. It offers fabulous monastery sights, breathtaking high-altitude treks, stunning views of the world's highest mountains and one of the most likeable peoples you will ever meet. But you are never far from the reality of politics. For anyone who travels with their eyes open, a visit to Tibet will be a memorable, fascinating, but sobering and at times even a saddening experience.

Bhutan: The Last Paradise

Known to the natives as Druk Yul (Land of the Thunder Dragon), Bhutan is regarded as the last paradise on earth. Its isolation, spectacular mountains, varied flora and fauna, ancient Buddhist monasteries, vibrant culture and mystic aura have made it so. Though small in size, the kingdom's topography is one of dramatic contrasts. From the near - tropical southern border with India at an altitude of 300m, the land rises to culminate into Himalayan peaks over 7000m in the north which form a natural frontier with the Tibetan region of Bhutan's neighbor, China. About the size of Switzerland, Bhutan has spared no efforts in preserving its unique tradition and culture as well as its near intact natural environment.

Incredible India

India is an incredibly diverse country, both geographically and culturally.  It contains the high mountains of the Himalaya, a portion of the arid Tibetan Plateau, vast deserts,  Tropical forests, and beaches.  It is home to practitioners of Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism  Christianity, as well as countless other regional and local regions.  All of these groups have left one of the worlds most diverse architectural legacies.  India boasts great Islamic monuments like the Taj Mahal, spectacular temples of Hindus, Jains, Sikhs and Buddhists, fortress like Buddhist Monasteries of Ladakh, and even colonial era European style Churches.  Whether you wish to monastery hop through Ladakh or Sikkim, visit the palaces of Rajasthan and ride camels out into the desert, hike through the canyon ridden arid mountains of Ladakh, or the lush forests of Sikkim, Himalayan Sherpa Adventure can make your dream Indian Adventure a reality.

Pakistan: Home of the Karakoram

Pakistan offers some of Asia's most mind bending landscapes, a kaleidoscope of cultures and a deeply generous people.  Mountaineers appreciated the land long before it was a separate country.  The best known attractions are in the North-West Frontier Province (NWFP) and the Northern Areas, in a knot of four great mountain ranges, the Hindu Kush, Pamir, Karakoram, and Great Himalaya, with the densest concentration of high peaks on earth (including K2, the second highest peak in the world).
