The Druk Air flight to Paro offers you beautiful view of mountains and landscapes. After visa formalities in Paro airport, our staff welcomes you and takes you to the hotel. In this trip, you will explore ruined fortress of Srugyol Dzong, which attracts visitors due to the strategic location of the fort. The fort defended the Paro Valley from the Tibetan invasion from the north in the early 17 th century. On clear day, Mt. Chomolhari (7320 m.) can be seen towering over the Dzong. The visit to the seven - floors museum highlights various aspects of Bhutanese culture and history dating back to the 7 th century, is very memorable and charming visit. The another attraction of this trip is the memorial chorten built in the memory of late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk, 15 th century Changankha monastery and new Drupthob nunnery temple. The old capital city Punakha and Punakha Dzong is another remarkable fortress built between two rivers makes the trip real exciting. This trip is designed mainly to show the cultural sights and landscape of Bhutan to understand Bhutan by close eye.
