This nine day tour takes in the so called "Golden
Triangle," of India, namely Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra.
These famous cities harbor many of the architectural
highlights of India. Delhi the capital is filled
with monuments dating from its time as the capital of
the Muslim Mughal Empire as well as a wide array of
colonial monuments built by the British when they moved
their capital from Calcutta to New Delhi. Jaipur,
the "pink city" is the gateway to the colorful state of
Rajasthan adorned with several palaces and forts in
addition to its bustling and colorful bazaars.
Finally we will visit Agra home of the spectacular Taj
Mahal truly one of the wonders of the world. |
