Goecha La Trek, Sikkim

This trek ascends quickly from the beautiful historic settlement of Yuksom at 1780 m through rhododendron forests to high altitude alpine scenery. There are various view points along the trail that offer incredible views of Kanchanjunga and surrounding peaks. The climax of the trek is the vista from the 4940 m pass known as the Goecha La. From here Kanchanjunga is framed in the pass appearing close enough to reach out and touch through the thin mountain air.

Day 12 Trek to Yuksom 5-6 hours, hotel

Day 13 Drive to Darjeeling, hotel

Day 14 Sightseeing in Darjeeling, hotel

Day 15 Fly to Delhi, Sightseeing in Delhi, hotel

Day 16 Visit Agra Taj Mahal, return to Delhi

Day 17 Transfer to airport
