Kathmandu

Mention Nepal and most people conjure up images of the Himalayas. The country is, however, distinguished not only for its high mountains, but also for its unique cultural heritage, artistic monuments, fabulous white water rafting and exotic wildlife, which are reflected in the kingdom's languages, architecture and bio diversity.

Nepal is the confluence of two great religions – Hinduism and Buddhism. Lumbini, the World Heritage Site, 280km west of KTM is the place Lord Buddha was born 2,500 years ago. The KTM valley comprises of the three royal cities of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur, which share amongst themselves seven World Heritage Sites. Chitwan National Park, city tour around Pokhara valley and the white water rafting in Himalayan River are another additional attraction to allow you to discover Nepal in more detail.
