This wonderful trek to Machhapuchre Base Camp offers the most dramatic close-up views of the Machhapuchre, Lamjung Himal and Annapurna. The abrupt variations found here are astonishing. You can see the wonderful Pokhara valley and Seti River from Machhapuchre Base Camp.

This would be really a wonderful trek for those who are nature lovers. First day meet Gurung people (the backbone of the famous Gorkha regiment) along the trail to Karuwa The second day would be great for bird watching, observing wild mountain animals and wild flowers in the rhododendron and pine forest along the Pipre ridge. This ridge is home of thousands of kinds of birds. Here you can see barking deer, sparrow, deer and snow leopard as well as blue sheep. Wild flowers always bloom in this range.
