Skyline Trek:

This trek begins with a drive to Chovar Bungamati for an enchanting look at the Himalayan sunrise. Then we walk to Phulchowki – Dhulikhel – Nagarkot – Chisopani – shivapuri – Kakani for seven days enjoying the panoramic view of the mid central Himalayas and Kathmandu valley.

This short hike is a fabulous introduction to Nepal. Ideal for those with limited time, a trek along the rim of the Kathmandu valley has everything from sacred Hindu and Buddhist shrines to sub-alpine forests teeming with wildlife, all set against the spectacular backdrop of the Himalayan range.

We offer two short treks in this region. The first (4 days) takes you through the Shivapuri Wildlife Reserve beginning at Nagarkot and ending at Budhanilkantha. The second (7 days) is almost a full circuit around the rim of the majestic Kathmandu Valley beginning from Bajrabarahi and ending at Kakani.
