In this spectacular tour through the stunning barren and beautiful landscape of western Tibet we will visit the holiest mountain in the world, Mount Kailash. Sacred to both Tibetan Buddhists and Hindus, who regard it as the abode of Lord Shiva, we will follow the pilgrimage trek (parikarma or kora) around this sacred mountain. This stunning three day trek offers close up views of this beautiful and holy mountain. We will also visit the holy lake Manasarover, the most revered lake in Tibet. This spectacular expanse of clear blue water is rimmed with monasteries and backed by the snow clad peaks of the Himalaya. This amazing journey into western Tibet explores a remote yet religiously revered region with unrivaled natural beauty, and is guaranteed to be an experience few will forget.

Drive Kathmandu to Nyalamu (3800m.) – 165 kms. 8hrs. O/nt at htl Snowlion.

Day 4
Drive Nyalamu to Paigutso (4850m.) -221 kms. 7-8 hrs. Camp.

Day 5
Drive Paigutso to Saga (4640m.) -115 kms. 6-7 hrs. Camp.

Day 6
Drive Saga to Paryang (4540m.) – 185kms. 7-8hrs. Camp.

Day 7
Drive Paryang to Manasarover (4700m.) – 290 kms. 7-8 hrs.O/nt at Guest House / Camp.

Day 8
Full day Excursion to Lake Manasarover. Camp.

Day 9
Drive upto Starting point of Kailash Parikarma. Start trek to Dira Puk (4909m.)- 18 kms. 6 – 7 hrs. Camp.

Day 10
Continue Parikarma over Dolmala Pass (5650m.) to Zuthul Puk 22 kms. 7-8 hrs. Camp.

Day 11
End Kailash Parikarma near Darchen (4700m) – 14 kms. 3 – 4 hrs. O/nt Guest House.

Day 12
Drive from Darchen to Paryang (4540 m.) – 277Kms. 7 – 8 hrs. Camp.

Day 13
Drive from Paryang to Saga (4840 m.) – 185 kms. 8 hrs.

Day 14
Drive from Saga to Paigutso (4850m.) – 115 kms. 6-7 hrs. Camp.

Day 15
Drive from Paigutso to Nyalamu (3220m.) – 221 kms. 7-8 hrs. O/nt at Htl Snowlion.

Day 16
Drive Kathmandu via Zhangmu..

Day 17
Free day in Kathmandu for shopping or more sightseeing

Final departure
