In this spectacular tour through the stunning barren and beautiful landscape of western Tibet we will visit the holiest mountain in the world, Mount Kailash. Sacred to both Tibetan Buddhists and Hindus, who regard it as the abode of Lord Shiva, we will follow the pilgrimage trek (parikarma or kora) around this sacred mountain. This stunning three day trek offers close up views of this beautiful and holy mountain. We will also visit the holy lake Manasarover, the most revered lake in Tibet. This spectacular expanse of clear blue water is rimmed with monasteries and backed by the snow clad peaks of the Himalaya.
