This fly in drive out 12 day tour of Tibet takes in the sights along the spectacular route between Kathmandu and Lhasa including Mt. Everest North Base Camp and Rongbuk Monastery. The base camp offers one of the best views in the world (accessible to non-climbers) of the highest mountain in the world. The massive North Face of Everest dominates the valley behind Rongbuk Monastery. Cultrual sights along the way include Shigatse, home of the famous Tashilunpo Monastery and seat of the Panchen Lama, also the beautiful Tibetan town of Gyantse.
